This week, the Rollins Foundation announced a $65 million contribution to Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
The donation will help establish the third Rollins School of Public Health Building on the university’s campus, a project that is set for 2020.
“This new investment is a gift for the future that will have world-wide reach. It will propel the faculty, staff and students of the Rollins School of Public Health to new levels of leadership and service for the greater good,” said President of the University, Claire Sterk.
Rollins Foundation has previously donated to help establish the university’s leading public health department, and leaders of the Rollins Foundation said that they hope the donation will help continue to build Emory’s leadership in public health.
