The number of educated immigrant women in OECD countries (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) now outnumbers men with low education, and they are also rising faster in high skill jobs than men.
The comparison is significant because this is the first time in history that data shows that more women with higher education surpass the bar of men with low education in those regions.
At least 7 countries saw the population of highly-educated women grow beyond the population of men with lower education, while the majority of countries saw the number of educated women rise.
