The Grand Teton National Park Foundation received $17 million in grants to help preserve the land and species within the area.
Private donors helped to fund the Wyoming park and purchase 640 surrounding acres.
The funds will also be used to conduct research on species of grizzly bears and native fish.
“Our team had an incredible year, and we are very grateful to have so many generous supporters with such passion for Grand Teton National Park,” said the foundation’s president Leslie Mattson.
“We look forward to continuing to support our partner to help make Grand Teton the best that it can be,” she added.
