Simmons College in Kentucky received a $4 million donation this week, setting it off to a healthy start in its campaign to raise $20 million to maintain its doors open for students in the future.
The HBCU, Historically Black College or University, will be able to use the funds to restore buildings on its campus and the remaining funds will be used to establish an endowment fund.
