A $450 million campus redevelopment project at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston will expand the museum’s exhibition and program capacity by 500,000 square feet.
The project started back in 2015 and is expected to be completed by 2020, bringing in new buildings, plazas and gardens to museum visitors.
Leaders of the museum hope to create a more connected museum and campus environment with the new layout and in addition will soon debut the new Glassell School of Art which will include new studios, gallery space and an auditorium.
