As wildfires continue to spread across California, the California Fire Foundation has stepped up to provide affected families with financial assistance to acquire essentials such as food and clothes.
The major focus for the foundation has been helping families who have suffered a loss of 25 percent or more of their belongings.
Fires in Southern California have affected more than 170,000 acres of land and have led to more than 200,000 evacuations.
Red Cross, the Salvation Army and United Way of Ventura County have also helped victims of the wildfires through donations of food and water, clothes and have provided shelter for families.
