Michael Dell, the Texas founder of Dell Technologies, has pledged $36 million to help victims of Hurricane Harvey.
The donation from the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation is the largest sum of money aimed to help rebuild the Houston area.
The billionaire, who was born in Houston, said he is committed to helping the city recover from the devastating hurricane.
“This is our home,” Dell said in a statement.
“It will take all of us working together, over the long term, to rebuild our Texas communities.”
