The Global Footprint Network, a research group that aims to help leaders in government and finance measure how much people take from the environment, has recently found that people across the world use more natural resources than nature can provide.
The study suggests that if a country has a large economy, that country would be more likely to consume more from the environment.
Canada is the most environmentally responsible and South Korea is the least, among the world’s fifty largest economies. The United States has one of the “worst” environmental track records (measured in Hectares), ranking second.
