The College and University Professional Association for Human Resources conducted new research and found that although the gender pay gap shrunk during the early 2000s, it has still persisted throughout the past fifteen years among female administrators in higher education. According to the study, women earn eighty cents to every dollar men earn.
Equality has been a popular topic of discussion, with higher education embracing diversity. However, the wage gap has remained an issue in a number of work environments. There are fewer women in high-paying positions where the pay gap is narrower, and women are paid significantly less than men who hold the same roles.
