ArtFinder, an online marketplace for art – similar to Amazon, but for art – created an Artificial Intelligence Twitter robot that scans an image and connects users to similar artworks sold on its site.

The bot uses facial recognition technology to scan for similar artworks that individual artists have uploaded onto ArtFinder to sell their work.

The tool comes as a huge relief for artists who are unrepresented by art galleries and who might find it more difficult to have their works discovered otherwise.

The bot can filter prices on artworks, so that users can purchase artworks within their budget.
