A 17-year-old discovered a new planet during his internship with NASA.
A few days into his internship, he was analyzing data captured by NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, TESS, and ended up discovering a new planet which is being referred to as TOI 1338 b.

“TOI 1338 b is also the first planet found via TESS, and it lies roughly 13,000 light-years away from Earth in the constellation of Pictor,” reports Hypebeast.
