The great Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris burned down nearly three months ago, and huge donations and pledges came flooding in shortly after.
However, nearly three months have gone by and the majority of the donations have yet to be received by leaders of the cathedral to actually help with the reconstruction.
The cathedral had been in the works for more than a century, when a fire burned down a large portion of it, devastating the religious community and the region for which it meant so much.
More than 850 million Euros were pledged to help rebuild the iconic cathedral, but three months later, less than 38 million Euros have actually been disbursed, according to RT.
Officials say that major donors want to make sure that they know where their money is going and how it will be spent, before they agree to donate the millions they pledged from the start.
