The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art will finally be completed in December after years in the making, and will add approximately 10,000 square feet to the Washington State University Museum of Art.
The $15 million project will be home to both new and old collections of art.
Curator Zach Mazur says that the addition of the new building will help bring more traffic and improve visibility of the museum that is so dedicated to delivering quality art on larger social issues in the US.
The building itself will open to the public in April, when art installations have been completed.
